How a project runs↗03 — A recent project
Private medical practice — Belgium
01Starting point
A brand-new clinic, built from scratch: a reception and five consulting rooms shared by doctors in rotation. When we arrived there was nothing — no network, no telephony, no access control — and everything had to work from the day the clinic opened.
02What we did
We designed the installation and built it end to end on a single UniFi platform: the fibre link extended from the building entry to the technical room, then the wired network, Wi-Fi, IP phones and a video intercom at the entrance. For the telephony we put two options on the table, with the numbers side by side: own the system, or rent one as a monthly service. The clinic chose to own it — the equipment is theirs, on a Belgian fixed number. Only the structured cabling was laid by an outside contractor.
03The result
Network, phones and front door run as one system. Calls go in and out on the clinic’s own number; when someone rings at the door, the phones ring, and the door opens from a handset or from one of the physical buttons we fitted — with the clinic’s own branding on the phone screens. The doctors let themselves in with a tap of their phone on the intercom, a badge or a key fob, and can open the door from the app wherever they are. And when something needs attention, the clinic calls the people who built it: we stay on for the maintenance.
